❤️ Here is a little freebie I made as a gratitude practice – save this image to your phone, set it as your wallpaper and then whenever you unlock your phone take a second to pause and be grateful.
🧡 Look around and find one thing to be grateful for, then think about the WHY. Studies have shown that when we think about the why our gratitude levels increase.

💚 If you are willing, I want you to take it a step further and FEEL the why in this present moment. This goes beyond the usual ‘write five things you are grateful for’ or ‘think about all the things you have that make you so lucky’.
💙 Thinking is different to feeling. Thinking about how lucky you are to have a roof over your head is different to the feeling you get when you walk into your warm, cosy house on a snowy day. Thinking about how lucky you are to have friends is different to the FEELING you get when one of them calls you out of the blue and you have a wonderful conversation.
💜 Being present in our gratitude means having an awareness of what is already happening in our lives. Looking for the good is a wonderful way to become more aware. What do you see, hear, smell, feel or sense, right here and now that brings up thoughts and feelings of gratitude?
